    I rented the dvds of the show and watched them a while ago, it was really good, too bad it got cancelled.

    I'm deffinately looking forward to the movie.

    yeah, I liked the dry humor; it reminds me of Buffy (the movie, never have seen an episode), which is to be expected, since they share the same creator. Another plus: a few of the eps of Firefly were written by the creator of The Tick, Ben Edlund.

    Perhaps Fox will pull a Family Guy if the movie and DVD sales do well.

    Just watched the movie, Serenity. They went back and showed how the doctor helped his sister escape, but the rest of it was a sequel. There was no retelling of episodes and it explained a lot and tied up the loose ends. It could come back as a series, but there's no need.
