my iMac isn't preforming very well in this heat, it keeps freezing up. The top and back of it are really really hot to the touch so I think that has something to do with it. Any tips for cooling it down?

My G4 gets the same way now and then. I just turn on the fan and point it at it.

slot loading iMac? air is sucked in the bottom by convection and rises out the top. if it's overheated then you need to get cooler air around the bottom of the iMac somehow.

I hope it's one of those environmentally friendly conditioners... The crapply old style ones suck. You turn them on to cool down yet only add to the heat problem in the proccess... :shake:
