Yea, free coffee and apparently stock benefits too. :hm:

But like I said, I'm going to put in a few more apps tomorrow because Starbucks can afford to be picky.

Working at home would be a sweet deal.

I know you go there, and I say you're lucky. They don't even look at people from my school unless they're full IB, and then they just draw names out of a hat because their acceptance rate is so low. People with the exact same GPA and test scores, and almost identical extracurricular - one gets in, one doesn't. We have twelve kids going to Berkeley, and none of them were accepted to LA.

My mom is a librarian at a high school with an IB program. She says the quality of students in IB is declining along with the the quality of regular students. There are lots of IB students that can't even pass some basic standardized tests.

And there is rampant cheating in their IB program. This was also the case when I was in IB for 1 year.

Haven't seen anything like that at my school. But the kids who get the grades have never necessarily been the smartest ones. They have good work ethic and get every assignment, bar none, in. That said, they're all still very above average and quick-witted - the kind of people you expect to go on to be succesful business executives.

I'm still sitting on the fence between bio major / toxicology minor, bio major / mbb minor, mbb major / bio minor, mbb major / toxicology minor.

    That's bioinformatics.
I'm just drifting to what I find the most interesting. Right now it's mbb.

Okay, I think that's a pretty rough layout, I'm sure I'll switch the courses around.
