I have 5 more weeks of spring.
god I wish I could go back to spring break... high school is such a joke at this point.
Ride it out.
Marks coming in:
Oh God, last week of summer vacation for me
how much those set you back?
A lot all together.
The Cell book is the only new one so far this semester. I still have to buy a new one. I was just taking pictures of them for something else.
College textbooks are such a scam. I really hate it when you shell out $80+ on a textbook that the professor hardly has you use, then when you go to sell it back you get like $12 for something that they could put back on the new shelf. What a rip off.
Which is why I rarely sell mine unless I'll never use it again.
The Cell book cost $175.
Yikes. Is that US or Canadian?
I figured out that our university book store was buying back our textbooks for the amount of money that they discount off of them to sell them used. So, if a book that was originally $100 new was selling for $75 used, they'd buy your book back for $25. Such a rip off.
Canadian. Most of my books cost ~$170 since they're science texts.
Tell me about it. Chem books are ridiculous. I kept all of my chem books, although I should have burned my P-Chem book.
Well, don't forget the infamous, "We're switching to a new edition next semester, so you get jack shit."
Which of course makes no sense at all...

Applied to Starbucks today, but going back out tomorrow because applying to Starbucks is like applying to UCLA - they just put your name in a hat.
