I'm probably the only one here taking it but I'm registering tomorrow and so far I have:

Chem 282 - organic chem II
Chem 286 - organic chem II lab
Mbb 221 - molecular biology and biotechnology
    Bisc 316 - vertebrate biology

So that's 8 credits but I need more so I've been looking through the offered courses but since it's a summer semester they're barely offering anything. Only other things I could take that are somewhat interesting are

    Bisc 306 - invertebrate biology
psych 102 - intro to psych II

I dont need the bio since I'm going vertebrate (invertebrates suck), and I found psych 100 pretty boring this semester so I'm not too thrilled about taking the next one although it gives me art credit.

ochem 2 in the summer?! That seems like a class better suited for a full-length semester.

I will be taking classes this summer. There are no CS classes offered during the summer so I will probably take a couple of lower division GE classes that I still need (speech and history I think).

We don't have retarded mini semesters like most colleges. We work on an equal length trimester system.

Three semesters a year each four months long. Three months of lecture and a month of exams for each semester.

Actually I took o-chem 1 and 2 over the summer at the recommendation of my advisor (the o-chem prof). It was beautiful. Test every Friday, so you were testing on material less than a week old, rather than 3 or 4 weeks old like you would during the regular semester. Aced both semesters.

The cons were lab three days a week and lecture started at 7:30 AM 5 days a week. It was worth the A's in the end, however.

    Scheduling is awful this semester.

    So I registered for

    mbb 221
    chem 282
    chem 286
    psyc 102
    arch 100

waitlisted for bisc 306, if I get into that then I'll probably drop arch 100. Couldn't take bisc 316 because it conflicted with chem 282 :(

I've been out of undergrad for about a year and a half. I'm looking to go to graduate school, but I'm not exactly what for. I should probably actually get a graduate degree I can use as opposed to one that I actually want.

I just got into bisc 306 so I'm off the waiting list, now I drop arch 100 since 16 credits is too much.

Your degree doesn't matter, your masters does.

Also, why are .png not valid attachment files?

Not taking any summer courses I don't think. But I did get a nice number in the on-campus housing lottery.

You're put in groups of students based on a number of criteria, like semsters you've lived on campus, credit hours completed, GPA, date you turned in your $200 deposit and other things.

Out of about 4000, I pulled 1287. Basically, 1-1000 are Seniors, Juniors, and Sophomores with a few freshman that took a ton of courses and did very well, and then 1000-3000 are the normal freshmen, and above 3000 are the ones that did something wrong. These aren't the exact ranges, it's just what it usually ends up being

My GPA was awful, and I was expecting near 2000, so this is cool.

True to an extent, but I wouldn't suggest getting a BA in music, if you were looking at getting an MS in Neurological Biology :)

Obviously, but most grad schools just need a degree to get in.

Have a physics degree? Have good grades? Got a good score on the MCAT? Welcome to med school!
