A.k.a. World War 3, which takes place some time between now and April 5, 2063 - the date of first contact.

Khan rises to power in 92 and the eugenics wars are over in 96.

WWIII is in 2053 and the key figure is Colonel Green.

an interesting side note: Transparent aluminum begins development in 86 on a Mac :D

While I was looking the info for that post up I found even more stuff that dosent jive with the show:
Cochrane's flight is in 2063 and the show begins 90 years later in 2153
Starfleet is not created untill 2161
First contact with the klingons is not till 2218

    :barf2: enterprise "theme" song

Don't get me wrong, the images used in the opener are great, but someone must die for using that music.

I just don't agree. So Enterprise is overturning some really old precedents... They have to since we're well past the times they were supposed to occur.

just beacuse were well past the times the events occurd does not meant that they must be overturned. There still is a lot of room in the history to have a show on the period that doesnt overturn the history.

The show is supposed to be about actual human history, it is sci fi, but not fantasy. My personal opinion is that they never should have made assumptions about events so close to the present, but they did, nevertheless, so of course they have to change in reflection to actual history.

Oh my God, so do I. I don't hate Jeri Ryan, but I hate the fact that her character was created just for ratings. They flaunted her all over when she first came onboard to get the show's ratings up a little (Seven to Ensign Kim: "Take off your clothes" - what the ****?), at least T'Pol doesn't make it quite so painfully obvious, even if she is there just for her sex appeal.

I'll look up how to spell it when I get home :D. Do they? I don't believe so, but I could be wrong, don't have my encyclopedia on me :p. I think it's just the males that "get the urge"...

Omg, T'Pol is not gonna do Archer, n00b.

Hush you, all they did was change "ancient" history, that has very little effect on any of the core themes of the show.
