It was an awesome episode, I'm loving Enterprise, and yes, T'Pol is hot :p. Methinks Jake lieks the sonic shower scenes ;)...

I'm getting a little nervous about how they're dealing with "Star Trek history" though, the UFP is supposed to go to war with the Klingons eventually (original Star Trek and movies 1-5), and Captain Archer is doing a pretty damn good job of making peace right now...

Well, of course the Klingons aren't hard to go to war with, so I'm sure it'll be fine :).

hrmm, missed it. Was out watching Ragtime (great performance).
Guess I'll catch the replay on Saturday.

I wish they would do a little better job with the writing (both plot and dialogue), it was starting to bore me before the reruns began. :)

Ensign Merryweather. Mmm, he's okay, but they hardly ever use him, he just sits there and carries out Archer's orders. The only time I've seen him out of his chair (bear in mind I've missed a lot), was in the pilot when he was upside down in the Jeffry's Tube where the artificial grav generator wasn't affecting it.

It's because he's black, right? That kind of racism offends me. We all can't be white like you.

FYI, it's Jeffries Tube. Named after a guy with the last name of Jeffries. It's not owned by him.

"That kind of racism offends me."

Yeah. On the other hand I hate it when they do shows with a person of every color in an effort to pacify viewers. I like it when they insert a black guy cause he's bad-ass cool or some oriental guy because his background fits the story. It bugs me to no end when a show tries to manipulate you like this... This being said, I still find it hard to choose between Sisko and Picard. Kirk would be there but he rips his shirt off every two episodes and I'm no woman... :D

I like Archer, he's a good captain, it's between him and Picard for me.

    Yeah, they're discriminating for minorities.

I really hate it when they change something so it's more politically correct but at the same time ruin all the historical truths.

Like Pirates of the Caribbean? Hehe :).

What really pisses me off though is how colleges accept less qualified people because they're the minority.

Exactly! Many companies will hire women who are less qualified than the male applicants because they need to have a certain number of women.

and even more companies will hire minority men over qualified anglo women because they need to fulfill those quotas.

let's not replace racism with sexism here.

I was thinking about it and he seems very similiar to the helmsman in Galaxy Quest :D.

Goes both ways. It's discrimination for a certain group.
