If Norton Disk Doctor(6.03) gives this report what should I do?
    I´m in a Mac G4 dual processor OS 9.02.

volume recover stops for a -60 error.
Disk doctor stop for a 23005 error

the hard disk is HFS+ so I switch off the other preferences and leaved just the check directories (I´ve tryed with wrapped and without)

    REPORT:

A major error was found in a directory record in the Catalog B-tree.
    Node 1011, record 81
"______" has an incorrect child count (valence).
    (10,6,34)
    The problem was fixed.

    Thank you...
I´ve already read everthing at Norton support and did everthing they say...but the support say that that problem comes in OS 8.x so 9.02 isnt reported to be affect. I would love to wipe/format/reistall...but I don´t have a back up of the whole HD and morover seems "a simple :( problem of access to the B-tree so the data should be ok.

Anybody can suggest some software?. I´ve tried Anubis(that helped me to mount a SCSI HD when all other program failed) but it doesnt even show the bus.

Now I´m a little bit upset....

TechTool Pro is a good program too. but in my experience Norton is better for hard drive / file problems.

Yeah, it's good when it works. It has toasted so many people's installations because every os x update breaks the app. People who were defragging and fixing their comp in 10.1.4 with drive 10.1.3 were losing their install.
