I just use my Logitech ps2 controller I use for Madden on my PC for my NES and SNES roms. Works great for me.

I got the controller. The A button was stuck a bit, so I went and bought a regular controller from a local game store and replaced some innards. Now it works great.

It took me forever to get my controller to work. But once it did, it was great. I don't really play my roms anymore, although I was finally able to finish FFI after all these years (the memory chip in my oriniginal stopped recording data, and try as I might to keep the NES on 24 hours a day while I tried to finish the game, I was never successful).
