Does anyone know how to remove something from your trash if you don't have permissions to the file? Perhaps someone knows where the trash is located on the HD?

How do you get into the Trash folder though? I tried "CD trash" but it doesn't find it. I just need the location of the folder now. Thanks for the tip.

open a terminal. type 'cd' then drag the trash to the window.

    then type

    sudo rm -R *

BUT MAKE SURE YOU'RE IN THE TRASH FOLDER
