Finally hit lvl 40 and paid 18g to train for a mount. Only have 30g left and still need 42g to purchase one. Anyone know what's the best way to generate fast cash?

Looked up on some stuff last night and found that Mining/Blacksmithing pays pretty good. 3 x Copper Ore + 3 x Tin Ore makes an item that sells for 6s. Find a good spot that have mines and humanoids = fast cash. Too bad I went with Herb/Alchemy and got them both above 250. Don't want to reset trade skills cause it took a long time to get them that high.

mining + skinning = money. you can buy anything you'd ever want, no need to make your own stuff.

Aye, skinning makes for some ok cash right now, stacks of heavy leather sell for 60-80 sliver depending on the market flux. Stacks of thick leather easily sell for one gold each. I'm almost to 300 leathercrafting at which point I'll start using thick leather less so I'll be selling off what stacks I make and hopefully getting a decent cash flow.

When I reached 40 I had about 8 gold left after training and buying new mail armor. By the time I hit 43 I had 110+ gold and most of it was from selling leather and armor pieces. Now I’m back down to 10 gold after buying a mount. :p

Very soon I'll start my mastery quest for leather but I'm thinking of holding off until I'm closer or at 50 so I can finish the quest in one day. Once that happens I'll be able to make some nice armor for our clan mates and as always it will be free for clan members. ^_^

    It looks more like:

    Heavy Leather = ~40s
    Thick Leather = ~80-90s

    (buyout prices)

Hmmm, I been online once since last Saturday and that was to move Nelok out of IF. It's possible the prices changed but that much of a change is crazy, I guess with leather becoming so readily available... *shrugs*

I know I sold stacks of 10 heavy for 60s when I was 40 and at that time I was getting mail from others complaining about me selling too low. ^_^
