I'm glad they're focusing on the classes that are clearly the most imbalanced...
They'll probably make it like vanish. Time limit, no casting, slow move with a huge cool down.
Or it might just de-aggro anything on you and turn you invisible but you are rooted so you can't move anywhere until you either deactivate it or it wears off.
They really need to boost the functionality of Levitate. It's nice to be able to fall straight down cliffs and not die (well, from the fall at least... I have agro problems when levitating, as most of you know by now :P ) but I still think it should be possible to levitate across lava.
That would be like giving people the ability to jump in games where they can't. The whole game is designed around you not being able to do something. If you could levitate across lava you could skip entire sequences of instances. They'd just add lava monsters or fireballs in the lava to keep you from going across it.
I liked the way they did invisibility in Shadowbane. you could level it up and cast it with a time limit. others had to level up sight to cast with a time limit so that they could see you.
but... I don't know anything about WoW.
but not so much that it provides its caster with an unfair advantage or allows for the bypassing of game content.
yeah like druids and rogues don't bypass game content?
That was one of the first comments to that Blizzard post.
I agree, rogue and druid stealth goes too far... rogues and druids can stealth through entire instances.
