you're 114lbs? you bench 155? nice.
I won joo all!
I am in Kung Fu. I weigh 135 and bench 170. squat 210 and curl 60 pounders, have "cut" abs. Bruce lee buff, not crazy, make you puke buff. I run 4 miles a day.(try to anyway;sometimes too busy) I bought 2 or 3 Bruce lee excercise books and pretty much follow them to the tee. mainly building forearms, legs and waist for martial arts. <---------guess who
with all those lbs you lift, you should have muscle to make yo uweigh more. don't try to eat very little, just stay from junk food, and eat as much healthy food as you want (ex: vegetables).
nice, where do you get the bruce lee workout books?
bruce lee is freakin awesome.
ya when i was like 8 or 9, i would watch his movies. enter the dragon was my favorite. so ofcourse i joined the nearest kung fu school, i did jow ga for about 2 years, but then i lost interest , and i was just a chore so i quit.
i know to eat fit and stay from fatty foods.... jakeman.... i weigh about 120... i go down to 114 for wrasslin' as they call it...
OK returning to subject
Today Jedsia is 5 days late for giving birth. She had a check up today and all looks good. We're just waiting... and waiting.... and ..... :bred: Since the baby is still growing i am going to change my weight guess to 8lb7oz and I am still pretty sure it's a boy. When things change I let you folks know.
OH Make a new thread Mr.GI Joe with the kung fu grip
Re: OK returning to subject
threads always go off topic on this forum. hehe
erm, will that make 4 boys?!
Well, since Jedsia's still percolating.... (I feel for ya Jedsia!!)
I will change my guess to:
Gender: Boy (unless sonograms be lying)
Weight: 8lb 11oz
Length: 22 3/4"
Barnes and noble. Before I got the books, I downloaded his abdominal routines off the internet.
where did u download em?
a senior at school has her due date for prom night. prom could turn into a very interesting night (not that it wont anyways)
bah! prom sucks. i never went to any of mine.
me neither. but the difference was, if I had asked anyone, they would have refused. (except Joanna, heheh)
Do a search for bruce lee workouts:
if you don't find something (unlikely) I will post what I remember:
Bruce alternated his lifting exercise days with martial arts training(t-th-sat)
x2 on weight lifting days:
Chest-bruce lees only recorded chest exercise was bench press.
2 sets:6 reps
abs- crunches 5 sets of 20, leg lifts-4 sets 20, good mornings(lowerback)
biceps- curls 2 sets 8 reps
a good excercise we do in kung fu works really well, but requires a partner.
you lay down on your back and grab their ankles above your head. you lift your legs up and they "throw" them back to the ground. You have to catch yourself b4 your legs hit the ground or you have to add 10 more per hit.
they throw your legs to the left and right to work obliques straight to work lower abs.
another fun, but painful one is you get a bo staff and place it between you and your partner resting each end 2 inches below yours and partners belly button and push each other around(while staying in proper stance(this teaches equal weight dist. for more force.)). It hurts like hell but it builds up qi in those areas and strengthens them.
btw, don't try the last one until you get pretty solid. people have died from it.
and believe me, dying from hemoraghic(spelling?) intestines is not pretty.
no, shaolin gung fu.
ever seen the movie shaolin soccer?
Azrael, you know you can pay like $15 a day for training from a master at a Shaolin temple? They did an article on it in Newsweek a while back.
