Last night on Kay/Hib we had another dragon raid. Everyone, as usual was expecting the worst, considering the dragon is a lvl 80ish mob with a terrible 2000-3000 dmg AOE spell with a large radius. Every time we get to the dragon, it nukes us and raid over.
Last night was the first time we got the dragon with noticable damage. We actaully managed to keep hitting it, and through some MMORPG-God act, we got the damn thing to 10% health.
What we didn't know is that the Dragon
1. Teleports random people somewhere else.
2. When at 10% health, summons a LOT of little friends.
Lets just say this is the closest anyone on Kay Server ever got to killing their dragon
mentos, help. i have spent 3 hours trying to take the next step in "the lady of the lake" quest. i found the lady. she sent me to see sir verin. i found him way up north. i right click on him, he says, "hi". i check my journal, i have two active quests, both say to talk to sir verin and get further instructions from him, but he's not giving me anything. i spent another hour searching for walkthroughs, nothing. any ideas?
Another player is masquerading as Sir Verin and you fell for it.
Sir Verin Stage: The Lady of the Lake Asks you to go to fort past the Snowdonia Station and help Sir Verin with whatever tasks he needs done. Head up to Swanton Keep, which is along the road past Snowdonia Station. Sir Verin guards the gates out front. Talking with him, he tells you that he needs two tomes from goblins nearby. He sends you to kill Grilk, and the Mystic Ulfwag.
ROFL... POTAL PLZ heh... I still wait with bated breath for my SHADOWBANE...
yeah, i did that. swanton station is north of snowdonia, just up the road to the north. sir verin is outside of the station guarding the gates. he doesn't give me any instructions or other quest.
Link on the side for quest search
Sometimes you have to say something to NPC's.
You can type
/whisper or /say and then whatever you're supposed to say to the NPC
Example: You see this in your quest log:
Blah Blah quest
Step 22034745: Tell such and such an NPC that you [love] her.
you would have to say "love" to the NPC, like /whisper love
Are you sure that is the name of the quest Jake?
that was it, i had to say /s [barbarians] and he reacted. i'm continuing with the quest right now... except i just accidentally hit my windows key and toggled the game (which quits it)
Hehehe. Everyone has the windows key problem, but I can have my hand on it for 10 minutes and nothing happens. Maybe I'm lucky.
The quest stuff in brackets always confused me, Guildmaster told me what to do first time hehe.
And BTW, that avatar is pimp.
I ORDER PIMP
hmm, i could use some money right now
I'm still tryin to catch the guy that has the account. Right now he's in college somewhere up in New England...Connecticut or something. And the guy with the account info that's still around isn't around this weekend because he's looking at colleges...in New England
Woot, I went up on the top 25 Blademasters list on my server
level 19 now.
One thing that Knifehim and I got into with our guild on with our low albion characters on another server was a Trebuchet (spelling?) Group. As in siege equipment. The trick is having a character around lvl 50, that can pull lots of agro with a spell, like a stun for example, without taking any exp away from people in the group.
Have one person aim the Treb at one of the mobs that is surrounding the high level character. Because the Treb has an Area Effect blast when it hits, all the mobs near it get hit. After 2, maybe 3 shots, 4-6 things will die and everyone in the group with the Treb operator gets great exp. I went from lvl 13-15 in about 45 minutes from one of these groups. Problem is that the Treb and ammo costs a lot of money, and takes a long time to get assembled (Going to Relic Keeps for supplies and ammo, having a high crafter capable of making the stuff, ETC.)
i have been soloing recently to get more money. solo = less exp but more money
I'm level 10 in Asheron's Call 2...
woo level 20
