    http://arstechnica.com/news.ars/pos...pusa-company-to-shutter-remaining-stores.html

A while back they shut down a ton of stores to "consolidate" their business. Now the corporation is shutting down completely.

The compusa I worked at always did bad business. There was a lot of scamming and manipulation of numbers. The official reason I was laid off was because they needed to cut back, but I think it was because I refused to participate in their scams.

...I'm glad you have them. It makes you valuable. (Well, except at Comp USA)

Typically warranties through a company are void when the company goes out of business.

if someone bought an extended warranty (I know it's not worth buying one, but I have friends who don't know that), wouldn't that be a contract? They must have done something with the money they got when they sold off everything in the store.

I guess a contract is not valid if the entity is dissolved :/
