They do stuff like this when they are preping for a big announcement.
Leads to the same image.
Edit: apparently starcraft2.com has redirected to the blizzard site for a long time so this may or may not mean anything.
If its not Starcraft related, you can bet that they aren't getting out of Korea alive.
I think they have avoided a starcraft sequel on purpose. The original game is so hugely popular in Korea that they have national televised tourneys. They even put the players in sound isolation booths during the competition. A sequel would have to be absolutely perfect to have any hope of replacing the original. No pressure...
It's the same with Counter-Strike, but they've still gone and released Source. The original is still used in any competitive situation like tournaments; I'm betting it'll be the same with SC.
my guess would have to be a starcraft mmo.
annoucement is in korea the country that loves their mmog's and starcraft.
Another MMO doesn't make business sense. And Koreans love Diablo and Warcraft too. Nothing is conclusive. Wait until Saturday.
sure it does, they're turning WoW into PvE carebear land. A starcraft MMO could be purely pvp to compete with warhammer
WoW's pvp mechanic hasn't changed since release, unless you are complaining about battlegrounds. Is the pvp mechanic for carebears? Do you want FFA all factions or something?
As if Warhammer is competition. By all accounts I've read it sucks.
I agree with Jake, PvP in WoW is working as intended.
It's probably Starcraft 2 but last year there were headlines everywhere posting: A Vivendi rep said that all Blizzard franchises will become MMOs. Is the announcement supposed to go out tomorrow?
That happens more than you think it does.
i hate what battlegrounds did to the game. there's no world pvp anymore, unless you count ganking people leveling alts.
