    I use a Blowtorch :p It burns about 30 CD's a minute... but I guess my CD-ROM drive isn't fast enough to read them... they never show up on the deskto :rofl:

    Use the microwave. Place a cd in the microwave with shiny side and up and put it on high for three seconds.

    Plastic doesn't splode, just put it on a disposable plastic plate or something. If you really wanna feel safe put grease paper on top.

    It'll damage your microwave if it's in there for much more than 3 seconds, but when you do it the CD bottom sperates and looks like a massive spiderweb on the bottom.
