They mention the People´s Republic of China several times, is the preview geared towards chinese people?

(People´s Republic of China must be the coolest name of a country there can possibly be!)

I'm really looking forward to WoW, it sounds like it's going to smoke all other MMO's. I hope it sets a new standard, since MMO's are the future.

It's too bad the PRC are a republic of the people only on paper.

Yes, in many ways China is a shitty country, but the name is cool.

I think then named it World of Warcraft for a reason. The short is wow, so now you have to say "wow" every time you talk about it.
Gives the game a positive feeling.

The WoW forums are buzzing with this unconfirmed information. Supposedly these are the final races and classes that were just announced in the latest CGW mag:

Horde: Orc, Tauren, Troll (new), Undead (new)
Alliance: Human, NE, Dwarf, Gnome (new)

new classes: Rogue, Priest, Paladin, Hero

Here is a supposedly scan of the article:

I can now confirm this information. I just read the scanned article.

btw, the article says Gnomes are micro... even smaller than dwarves. :p

Well that's what gnomes are, tardmonkey :stupid2:. Don't you know have your universal fantasy game dictionary handy? Gnomes, Ogres, Orcs or Orks, Trolls, Goblins or Hobgoblins, Elves or Elfs, they're all standard :p.

I want to be a Demon Hunter, I think. He was my favorite hero in Warcraft 3 (never bought the expansion). He was a melee fighter but had some delicious spells to bust out too. That's how I like my characters. I always go for the melee/caster red-headed-stepchild classes. Clerics, Rangers, Scouts, Paladins, Warlocks: stuff of that nature. Speaking of fantasy game standards...
