    Functional
I am many times more productive in the Windows interface than I am in OS X. Windows is faster and more intuitive for me. Windows also respects the requirement of backwards compatibility better than Apple does.

    Subjective
OS X is too squishy and bloated. Everything is pretty and flowery. I also resent that Apple has gone popculture... I am a counterculture person.

You're screwed then. Apple all popculture for you, Microsoft the big evil, and IBM is the biggest contributor to Linux development!

The only counterculture companies that don't go out of business or aren't relegated to some basement somewhere are the popular counterculture companies which market themselves so well as being counterculture that they become pop culture.

I would bet with the recent events of Boot Camp that 10.5 will support full virtualization of windows, screw a dual boot system.
