I'm sick of it. Not enough replayability for me. Anyone else?

I've been sick of it for about a month or two now. Once in a while I watch a replay but not very often. I'm back to playing SC with a few of my friends.

I think part the the reason that people get bored of WC3 sooner than they did with SC would have to lie with SC. People played SC for years and got their RTS fill and when WC3 game out they hoped that it would be SC all over again. Sadly all those years of SC made them too familiar with RTS and they bore much more easily because of it.

Or maybe the game was just boring. I never got into the SC thing as much as everyone else did (I still played it, it just wasn't a god of games to me) and I still got bored with WC3 about a week after I installed it.

I'm so bored of it that I bought it and haven't even installed it on my computer.

I've said that Warcraft plays more slowly and on a smaller scale than Starcraft, and I think that's why.

Like nearly everything in life, there isn't one simple answer. It's a combination of many things.

My....I am suprised at u ppl, just because it's unpopular doesn't mean that it sux. It apeals to a different audience than SC did. I agree with strader, people has been expecting something more like SC out of WCIII (Which WCIII wasn't really designed for). WCIII is more about unit control, more about tactic than about strategy. You have to be able to decide whether to make a move or to counter others moves much faster than in SC. Yes this would make a huge learning curve for new players, but that's also what makes the game charllenging. Also, I don't know about you guys, but lots of people has been going about playing the game in such limited way it's ridiculous. They play only one race *cough* *NE* *cough* and focus on only 1 strategy *cough* *huntress rush* *cough* that obviously make the game real old real quick. Trying playing more arrange team with friends, have some friendly custom game matches, playing as random, making up new strategies, and watever you feel like doing. I bet u'd find the game has much more playability then you thought.

One thing that i really missed though, are making those cool champign in SC and all the amazing idea people came up with while making custom maps.

I think he's implying that it's extremely popular, but generally speaking it sucks pretty bad now.

Since Jake is now (*cough* hypocritically) using the indirect suggestion which I ever so love using in debate, I think I shall translate based on my gander of the situation:

ogopogo: unpopular things don't always suck
    jakeman: generally speaking, they do
    ogopogo: the Macintosh is unpopular
jakeman: because its hardware sucks (I say hardware because Jake's said more than once that he appreciates OS X)

I hope I'm not insulting anyone's intelligence by writing the above, or misinterpreting for that matter. The latter is why I do it though, these posts are so vague I'm trying to clarify the situation for myself.
