USB 2 Upgrade

    I gotta question, with the new G4s, will you be able to upgrade the USB to USB 2?

    yes, through a PCI card. Actually, they already have USB 2 cards for Mac. I saw them at MacWorld in January. I forget the manufacturer and price though. But for right now USB 2 is pointless since there's not a lot of industry support for its benefits. But I think it's backwards compatible with USB 1 though.

    Pretty sure it was Orange Micro. Got one of their SCSI cards in my G3 right now.

    Keyspan is awful. I have their USB-Serial adapter, and it works like crap. Anyways, when do you think they will start having USB2 built into new Apple computers?

    right you are, cow, orange micro. Had a bad time w/ the keyspan USB card (incompatible drivers).
