Yes, yes it does. Installed OS X, did the finder speedup thing, looks ok. Run IE, crashes. Run it again, takes a minute to start up, works for a while, freezes. Opera here I come.

It's never crashed on me, I just can't get it to load jack shit. ARe there any other carbon/cocoa browsers out there I could try out?

I'm with you Haite. No crashes, it just won't load anything, or not much. Of course it's still a beta version, I think. It says "Preview Edition" when it loads, I am interpreting that as "beta." I still use IE 5.0 in OS 9.1, and I actually like it, believe it or not. Not sure what the problem with 5.1 is.

If I can find another carbonized browser then I'd love to run another test on my internet connection, but I'm pretty sure the problem's in the connecting, not the browser. The reason I think this is because I can't do any of OS X's internet-requiring electronic registrations, such as the OS registration or iTools set up.

I couldn't vote twice. Arrg the pain. I will get my cheese vote in here!

Oh, btw, IE 5.1 licks the dog crap off my shoes. It crashes, freezes, and sometimes just doesn't launch for me. I use Omniweb and have been happy thus far!
