I think I'll be getting this one. I haven't had OS X installed on my comps for about a year. I forgot my password after having my comps in storage for a while, and my install disks are messed up. 9.2.2 is not as cool.

I should totally buy a Family Pack. 5 licences for only $70 more than a single. then I could sell each licence to my friends for $100 (or $75)

BTW, nice SF reference. I love laughing while I'm alone, it makes me feel insane.

//edit: when did they add the migration assistant? that's the coolest thing evar!

Setup Assistant was first in 10.3.5.
Family Pack only legally covers five computers in the same house hold. illegally, you don't need the family pack to install to five, ten, or however many computers you want; you can do it with the single install.

I can tell that's the CE version. The original SF2 doesn't have those colors.

Oh btw, the cheapest move ever isn't Yoga Noogie, it's Guile's invisible throw (it's a glitch that only seasoned, SF-for-life people know of). Betcha not many people know about it.

Edit: And I love glitches. Always try to find one in every arcade game I play and take advantage of them.

I have it - didn't get to do much yet with it. I need a bigger HD so I can do the install right (I had to delete stuff to do a basic install on my second HD). I like Dashboard. I haven't used spotlight. I'm hoping RSS in Safari is good. Oh, and it seems "snappier".

Good. That is the main reason why I don't use a Mac as my main system anymore... I work too fast for Aqua.

That was a joke. Every little OS upgrade someone says that. I haven't even launched a program other than Safari in X 10.4 yet - so I really don't know. I am about to install a new HD and then I'll put Tiger on it and see how things are.

An iBook is slower than a full tower, so it only makes sense that an iBook would be too slow if a tower is too slow.

Right, I think his point is, and correct me if I'm wrong, that you are refusing to use a mac because of your previous experience with the slow ibook and would find a tower up to par.

I think he probably tested one in an Apple store. They're all over the place now - multiplying like bunnies. :p
