Best reason to own The Sims:

    1. Download nude patch.
    2. Make a house with two adult women.
    3. Buy vibrating heart bed.
    4. Mix and enjoy :D

Just realized that I have too much time on my hands :p

    THE SIMS STORE QUESTION

Does anyone know of any stores that sell the sims and is $50 a fair price to pay for the game?

It's kind of old now, $30 USD would be fair.

Maybe I was wrong about the price, I would have guessed otherwise though...

still getting the first expac? I think there are 3 expac, living large, house partey, and hot date.

What I like the most are the building mode piano solo. I use to extract them and play D2 with running them on my mp3 player :D

    Thanks

Thanks for all the help poeples but I now have the game and I can't play it b/c at first it said i didn't have enough memory so I turned on the virtual memory but then everytime I try to play the game it says a type error has occured to. I tried to contact ASPYR but I dont think they're open on weekends. In the FAQs it says to make sure the parent folders don't have any periods or slashes. I think I did this already but could someone tell me exactly how to do it. Also would it be wise to use my RAM memory.

    HELP

Mevermind about last question cuz I got a new one. I need to change the location of the file but everytime I go to Location Manager it says I don't have access to it. I have Mac OS 8.1 and a 306MHz processor. And a lot of memory but I don't know how to find out how much memory and RAm I actually have. I tried to install the SImms about six times but nothing works. I keep getting a type 1 error message. I have all the min. req. but I keep gettin this message and it won't even let me into the game at all.

he says it teaches children bad things. Children are not allowed to buy it because of the M rating. If a parent is not monitoring his child well enough to notice the game being played, then it is the parent's fault. The end responsibility for raising children lies with the parent.

I can't agree more. I get so tired of reading/seeing people whine and moan about what their kids see/do/hear. You are the parent, not the rest of us.
(I am a parent, just not for their kids!) My kids are young enough that is is easy for me to monitor/control all TV/Games that they are exposed to. We've just got to teach them now so that when they are old enough to buy the stuff on there own, they know reality from fiction, and right from wrong.

You'll never be able to control what your kids buy or do. You can try to impress your morals and beliefs onto them, but you'll never be able to make them do or not do something, that will only create resentment and more troubles.
