test your system
ahh ahah ah
Try and beat this!
carbon version here
Heh, I know the guy that wrote the OSX/Mac ports of that from the Arstechnica forums. He's a rabid OSX fan too.
I will bench my system later tonight, hopefully.
Argh. No one's running this program because they all use freaking pcs.
This clan is turning into a pc clan
Id do it, but I dont want to.
No, I think it's because everyone pretends to be a mac user when they just let their mac sit in the corner while using their pc all the time.
Well, my Quadra 650 was sitting in the corner, but last week I moved it out to the garage.
so? pretty much all i do is play diablo 2. my mac has major fps issues (a problem common to all macs right now that blizzard has admitted to) so i just play it on my pc. what sense would it make to play on my mac when it's barely playable?
hmmm, me want's an iBook.
Actually, testbenchx is an gussied up OSX port of a benchmarking app made by some people on ars called arstestbench or something like that.
Just go to the Arstechnica Battlefront forum and look around for a Testbench thread. Its like 25 pages long, should have all the info you need.
I've got the source to a specific version of it called smpbench, which was made based off of the generic arstechnica one by the same guy who made testbenchx. Not sure if it runs all the same tests, but everyone in this forum could run it equally without worrying about that lame-o Aqua crap.
And i'm just lazy and know that my 3 year old comp will not cut it...
<sarcasm>Yes, it's a good thing you told me. I might have continued to use this software being ignorant of where it came from</sarcasm>
I wanted to bench my computer against others in the clan.
I don't have X.
<runs for cover>
So, I have to join your clan before I can smack down your scores?
I don't even have Diablo 2.
