TCP/IP problems! HELP!!

    i can't get TCP/IP to work for me. whenever i try to connect to a game with it it tells me that it can't detect an IP. what do i do??

    It could be that even though you're logged in, open transport hasn't been activated and your ISP hasn't assigned you an IP address yet through PPP.

    If that's the issue, all you need to do is load a page in your web browser (or log in and out of battle net) so you get an IP address. Then try the TCP/IP option of the game again, it should display the same IP address that now appears in your TCP/IP control panel.

    If you're not using a Mac, I have no suggestions at all...
