About how the clan name is seperated from our name, I was thinking a tag would be cooler looking than a tilde ~. Examples of a tag could be [MAC] or ‹Mac› . Post what you think about this or some tag suggestions.

I just wanted to say something about my tag: Its MacPhoenix, and Ive always used this handle or nick. Just thought Id get that out before someone rips me apart. Thanks.

I like <MAC>. Me likes much! We could put <MAC> in the front and I think that would look cool. Plus it would help MacPhoenix out with his identity crisis. [IMG] He could be <MAC>Phoenix. And I would be <MAC>Jakeman, etc. This way everyone on Battle.net would immediately know we were Mac people because it would be infront of our names. [IMG]

Yeah, that sounds good. I prefer the smaller brackets though. ‹Mac›, maybe in Italics if that's possible. shift-option-3 and 4 will get you the smaller brackets. Or, we could just seperate the tag from the rest of our name by putting the tag part in bold or a different typeface than the rest of our name?

    or
    BUDDAH•mac

Finton: I do like those smaller brackets.

    ÐMACð instead of <MAC>

Speaking of which: did you guys ever try this? Go to the Apple menu -> Keycaps. Then hold down option and see what happens, then try option and shift together. It's nifty!

Those ‹›'s are cool, but I don't know if D2 will allow the ASCII characters.. If anyone here has played Starcraft on battle.net they don't allow them. What about one of these: MAC-[Qwarn] or MAC[Qwarn] Qwarn-MAC

Yes, I think the tag should be at the start of our names, so if someone enters our channel they just glance at the left and see what people are in MAC and which are not. They would all be lined up.

[IMG] Somehow the idea of <mac> Justice (in whatever form we choose to use -=- heck mac ~ Justice works too) is fine with me. LOL, I'l prolly get banned with an attitude problem :b. btw, I run a mixed network and was lucky to get selected for the stress test AFTER it went gold. (According to the email I received, going gold is irrelevent to the server tests. I believe Asia has to still be brought online. If there is anything I could check into I'd be happy to....YEAH, I'm doing research work, yeah, thats the ticket!

    Best to all,
    Justice

hehe! MAC Justice. Looks like you and Phoenix are in the same boat. [IMG] That's a good point about the ASCII characters. Just to play it safe we should go with something that uses regular characters, not the obscure ASCII ones. I'm leaning towards [MAC]Jakeman. I think the brackets make for a good tag. What do you guys think?

Whatever we decide on, we should keep it uniform.

Does anyone know if d2 is going to recognize the option letters like §*£¢£*©ƒß??? if they did we could do some cool stuff with the tag.
