SuperDrive gone PC

    I just looked at the Best Buy ad in the paper to see the SuperDrive is now for sale. Pioneer DVD-RW/CD-RW model DVR-A03, which seems very similar to the one i have on my G4.

    It's a Best Buy exclusive, which makes me wonder why. I know Apple is no longer using the beige drives, did Pioneer have extra drives they want to sell off? Otherwise, i don't see why other stores wouldn't get them in.

    BTW, it's selling for the low-low price of $799.99.

    I think the pioneer superdrive has been available for a couple months already for pcs.

    SuperDrive is obsolete junk. DVD+RW owns all.

    The superdrive is a combo CD-RW and DVD-RAM drive in one, you doink :p.

    The DVD+RW rewrites DVDs as well as CDs. SuperDrive cant. Any questions?
