And 450,000 pirated copies. Shameful. Such practice only kills the platform we are trying to save.

As much as I dislike M$, they hold all the cards. David isn't going to be bringing down Goliath any time soon, if ever. I do like Apple's "Switch" ad campaign, but they need to stay on at least polite terms with M$. Apple is outgunned, period.

This is not good news, guys. Not at all.

I agree. It is a rather perilous move if not handled correctly. The simularities between M$ and a spoiled child are scary sometimes because they wield so much power.

I asked Sun a long time ago, and this was their response:
I am happy it's finally going to be released. Apple has always competed against M$, I'm happy they are taking another step. Apple will never be bought by M$, and no one comes to the platform for Office, so who cares if M$ is mad.

I've never owned a "Office suite" in my life. Let alone a word proccessor or database program. I've used them at school, offices and at friends but it's the games and internet that draw me to a platform. In the case of Macs it was the fact that they were uncharted territory and I wanted to learn all about them.

Despite the danger with Microsoft I'm looking forward to this product.

I think fluppy2 from MacRumours.com said it best:

MS is gay if they are getting angry over this. it's a competitive market, live with it, inovate, make new better stuff. to borrow a line from spockirk, "shut up and go fly a plane into a building." :D

Those are products of microsoft owned subsidiaries. They don't count. Microsoft had nothing to do with them except putting their label on it and taking half the profits.

yep, exactly my point. both games had been finished or were close to finishing before they were bought. I think, like you, any Bungie product (even in the future) will not be considered a M$ product. Bungie has autonomy and still has the majority of the original team.
