For some reason when I try to run Starcraft (Carbon) on my iBook running 10.1.5 it'll "quit unexpectedly." It does this when you first fire up the game. It runs fine in OS9 and under Classic.

I have tried different versions of the osx patch and even copied my known good Starcraft folder from from my G4 and it still crashes. Anyone know what could be going on?

This may be the known crash. Disable the menu that appears before the game starts and launch the game a few times. It should work then.

if you are launching it from the Dock, you should open it up from the HD instead, the same thin happens to me now and then.

    got it working

i did the thing where you stop the start up screen from poping up and restarted the game twice. Now i can return to being a zerg tool.

Thanks to everyone for your help.
