I don't think anyone in my school is at all involved in this forum/clan, I'm logged in on about 30 computers across the campus ranging from G4s to 233 Mhz 604es to Indigo iMacs and even to one Bondi REV A iMac. Life is good (at least my school kicks ass, campus population of about 240).

    gekko....thats sad

Cant get even 1 file to work under Windows? It's either your computer sucks, or you suck with PCs. If you cant get it to work, dont bother then lol.

    1) Smackdown, just leave and save yourself the trouble.

    2) I've been using Windows for my entire life, i hardly suck with PCs. If your head wasn't shoved so far up Gates' ass you would see that the problem lie in the shitty job Microsoft does at programming their software.

    3) My PC doesn't suck.

    4) You just don't ignore a DirectX file. It will crash for every single thing that uses DirectX. This means every game, and i mean every game. It even crashed Hoyle Casino!

Hmm...I spoke too soon. Guess what? DDhelp.exe is crashing again. And if DDhelp.exe is a DirectX helper file, explain why it crashes some websites and Outlook Express?

Windows bites. I'm left to reinstall Windows again.

90 of computer owners use Windows, I feel bad for them.

hmmm, I was about to revoke posting rights for smack down's new acct, but his posts seemed rather harmless this time. But then he goes making slandering comments towards gekko.

Smack down, the reason I keep banning you and/or revoking posting and viewing rights is because of your attitude. No body likes an attitude. It's like when you kept e-mailing me saying, "Please give me back posting rights... or are your balls to small to make decisions on your own without your clan members." (or something like that.) It's those trailing insults that wear on peoples nerves.

Be humble, people will like you better. :)

Yeah I doubt he actually said that. After all, you have a complete sentence there, which is beyond Smackdown's ability.

Gekko - go to Start menu, Run command, and type "msconfig"

Go into the third tab and find DDhelp.exe, then disable it. That should make it stop running on your computer, and since it is a help file, hopefully you won't need it.

I find it very hard to believe that a help file is messing up your Windows. I say you get rid of 9X and go to Win 2000...you'll see the other side of Microsoft.

I got a G4 coming, there's no way i'm putting money into Windows.

I just left DirectX 7 on there. I'm afraid to go to 8 again.
