    Matrix: Revolutions
    LoTR: RoTK

That's about it, renting is another story.

I will see anything, but I think Matrix 3 and LoTR 3 are going to suck, if their latest movies are any indication.

Third one is supposed to be much better than the second. I'm obligated to see the third LoTR movie because I saw the first two.

I thought Reloaded was good, and I think the conclusion will be great. Have only seen LotR 1 though.

LotR, Matrix and probably Terminator 3, the last one has a rather high suck potential but I just saw the second one for the first time and it rocks, so I´ll have to see number 3.

Conclusion: LotR 2 was good if you havnt read the books, sucked if you have. They changed too much stuff, and some of the scenes and dialogue were really corney. I personally was unimpressed.

Matrix 3 and Return of the king

I'd like to see Identity, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Harry Potter if they are making Prisoner of Azkaban for this fall.

The only gross change to the story of lotr is the change in Faramir's character, but I'm guessing that the director wanted to 1) show how influential the ring is? and 2) that he could see no way to add in the 2nd battle at the end there without a "main" character being there? Pace, story continuity, blah blah? Who knows, I thought the movie was great anyway.

The matrix was less impressive because the change in the story dynamics I think. Neo...too powerful...mystery, not as impressive....human political dynamics...meh, who cares. Otherwise, it was a lot of fun.

Matrix Revolutions, RotK, and possibly Triple-X 2 when that comes out. I'll make sure to see Triple-X 1 beforehand though

Is nobody going to see Terminator 3? I mean it´s Arnold for gods sake.

    Hasta la vista, baby!

T2 is one of the best action movies ever!

    No James Cameron :(

I may see it, probably on video. I like Arnold but it's just not the same without Linda Hamilton and James Cameron....

Ah, LotR 2 was a decent movie, in my opinion. Not as good as the first, but still worthy of my $7.50. People expecting a completely accurate conversion from book to movie are delusional. Can't be done. I will be there for RotK in the fall.

So far in '03 I've seen X2, Reloaded, and Bruce Almighty. X2 was the best of the lot, although I was not unhappy with the other two. I may or may not go see LXG, and I may get roped into taking my girlfriend's cousins to see Finding Nemo, which actually looks kinda funny. I have no desire to see the cartoonish looking CGI version of the Hulk.

    My keys to enjoying movies:

    1. Ignore the hype. It will only unfairly raise your expectations.
    2. Suspend your disbelief. I get enough "real world" in the real world. I go to movies to be entertained, not to look for things that aren't realistic.
    3. Take all book adaptations with a grain of salt. Think of the movie as a different version. Ancient Greek myths have different versions depending on the teller, why should modern stories be any different? View the movie on its own merits, not on the accuracy of the translation.
    4. No matter how you slice it, Episodes I and II can't suck enough.

"Capcom has revealed that smash hit PS2 series Devil May Cry is to be turned into a blockbuster movie. A whopping budget of $40 million has apparently been set aside for the project, which is not due to begin shooting until 2005.

Though specifics of the deal have yet to be disclosed, Gaga Communications has obtained the rights, the company also involved with the film version of Onimusha. Capcom, of course, is no stranger to having its IPs turned into films, with a Resident Evil flick already under its belt, a sequel underway and the aforementioned Onimusha in the early stages."

Everybody must see this one, but it´s a few years away. The game is very cool though.

Resident Evil wasn't much to be proud of, hope they do a better job this time....

I don't know the game, but games-into-movies rarely work...

Have I already mentioned that Wing Commander was the worst computer-game movie ever?
