That defines me pretty well right about now. On startup on my computer i get a folder with a blinking ? but it goes away and my computer satrs up fine, so i reblessed my system folder to see if that worked, nope, missing or extension conflict, nope. So i did a system reinstall. ARGGGGGGGGGG. well, my preferances are down to about 40, but i did back up all my old stuff using the replace and save option. Un fortanatly, IE prefs are gone(does IE have pref?) so know I lost all my bookmarks, cookies, and everything else. ****, and i still have the ?

that just means your computer doesn't have a specified startup disk. So it takes a few moments to look for one. In the mean time it gives a flashing "?". It's nothing to be concerned about. Just go to your startup disk control panel and specify a startup disk. Then it won't do that anymore. [IMG]

Could be a driver problem on your HD. Did you use drive setup? I also had something similar happen when I didn'thave the startup disk highlighted in the startup disk control panel...
