Greetings, I was recently involved in the WoW stress test beta and am really excited about this game. I love the idea of a close, tight-nit guild, and the bunch of people here seem like a group of mature players.

I would like to ask a few questions though, before applying.

    - I understand that this guild is small, which IMO is a good thing. But the guild being small it is important that I am able to log on at the same time as the other members do. Logging in and playing with a guild member seems especially hard if we are in seperate time zones. I live in Oregon, so my time zone would be PST. With the recent announcement of the new East Coast, West Coast servers, I will be wanting to play on a West Coast server. What server does MSC plan to play on?

    - This is probably a stupid question, but - what does MSC stand for?

I think the rest of my questions have been answered already. I like the website and your forums appear to be active. I will talk to you later!

    - Phenoras

    Ciao, welcome to MSC!

MacSubCulture, but the acronym has lost its meaning.

There are a number of us on the west coast, even some in Oregon (myself included), so it is deffinately possible that we'll be on the west coast server.

Lots of information about this clan is available on the INFORMATION page.

MSC stands for MacSubCulture (we used to use macsubculture.com). We have changed domains since then, and have gradually become a Mac AND PC gaming clan, so the acronym has lost some of its meaning.

Regarding time zones... most of our membership is in the US and Canada, so we will obviously be playing on a server in that general area. I don't know about USEast or USWest. I imagine Blizzard will have USEast and USWest gateways through which to connect, but they will have several servers in the US. There is still much that we don't know about Blizzard's game servers.

    ps: I'm in California

I don't like the slowness of MMO's mostly and I cant stand the ones that work on a subscription. I may buy WoW though, just because it's from Blizzard...

It gets smoggy here every once in a while during field burning or when too many people get their wood stoves fired up.

I'm in a big valley. All of the air pollution from the valley cities and surrounding cities gets trapped by a thermal inversion layer. It builds up all summer and fall until the rains come and wash the air.

I am going to get one of these for my place since I am indoors most of the time. Once I get my degree I am moving out of this place.

    Welcome Phenoras.... :)

Jake... abe two of the Ionic Breezes (the larger model) and they work wonders. You wouldn't imagine all the stuff they filter out of the air.
