PSU Watts and 12v Calculator

    I have been scheming for my next system build and have noticed that the latest high end graphics cards have freakish power requirements (wattage and +12V rail). So I did some poking around to make sure my desired PSU will meet the requirements. In doing so I came across this nifty calculator which might be of use to others here:

    You can enter the specs of your system and it calculates the PSU requirements in terms of wattage and +12V current. You can compare these numbers with the data sheet for your PSU. For example, here is my PSU's data sheet:
