oooh oooh i have a pb140!!! TECHNICAL GENIUS AT WORK

yeah, works like a charm, for me. Use a boot disk for OS 7.0 (what i got on mine) and reinstall the OS. The full set of install disks is 7 floppies. You may or may not be able to find the disk images on the Net; sorry but I got no way of sending you my disks coz i got no way to network an OSX comp using Enet to a 7.0 running off an Appletalk printer cable...

You may want to make sure its got a hard drive at all, if it sounds like it does when it boots up than all is good but otherwise youll have to get an expert with a set of torx screwdrivers and some 100-series laptop Skilzorz (like myself!) to check out its innards.

Where do you live man? if its anywhere in the Los Angeles area I may be able to help you (not likely u live anywhere near tho)

//edit: call me at (310) 514-9066 anytime after 4 PM Pacific time, i can walk ya through everything. just get the disks first.

you can get a network boot disk (like System Tools disk on pre-7.0 systems) from the apple download site. I think it's 7.5
