Photoshop vs Fireworks

    Damn...I've made a bunch of fireworks animations that about 700x85 pixels which are 12 frames long, and they're only 12kb's each!

    I made a photoshop animation and it turned out to be 112kb's!!! That is not internet friendly! (It's the missle cow on my main page)

    Just use the less memory-consuming one ( Fireworks ) if you want your site fast!

    P.S. I haven't seen your site yet, but I'll check it out

    Photoshop can optimize gifs, especially ones as low in color and dithering as yours, very well. I think you're not saving the gifs as optimized images with low color and minimal dithering if they're ending up so big.

    I love the bouncy cows on the cursor!
