What's going on there? Are the dragons helping to fight the Silithid? That would be so tight.

I'm not sure, for all I know it could be the start of one of the world events blizzard keeps saying they are going to implement. Was that mentioned for 1.9?

Could be, the Bronze Dragonflight is somehow involved. If you watch you sometimes see them flying around Silithus even now.

Those armor sets look cool. I like the glowing shoulders on Netherwind. Me want. Here's the English language version: http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/underdev/index.html#armor

EDIT: Here are some answers to the lore surrounding Silithus and the dragons. http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/underdev/1p9/shiftingsands.html

I like the lore about the dragons and NE's working together. What I don't like is that it said to reassemble the staff you end up killing dragons. I want there to be actual in-game stuff where you get the help of some really powerful NPC's, like giants, or elementals, or dragons.

I'm sure all you mages know this but:

"After consideration and review of current mechanics and player feedback, the spell Conjure Crystal Water will be changed in patch 1.9 to generate 10 waters per cast. Hopefully, this will cut down tedium for Mages in raid preparation and other related aspects of the game."

    Sharpened Silithid Femur = yumm

New ranks for spells/abilities for each class is available via drops. Can't wait for my Fireball (Rank 12) or Frostbolt (Rank 11).

You need both? Are you a Frost/Fire build?

    Fair enough. :D

I'll take Fireball and Arc. Missles. Frostbolt I use Rank 1.

Finally got around to reading some of the more minor patch notes...

That's nice. What a waste of time killing them before.

Good and bad. Less tedium when farming, but greater supply means lower AH prices.

    Sigh...new AQ content...

    About time.

So when are they going to do something for Warriors and Armorsmiths?

Warriors got patched and talents reworked sometime in April-May 2005 so they won't be looked at again except for maybe a few tweaks. Mages should be next in line soon though since they haven't done any major changes since retail.

Yeah... they nerfed +def and gave us shield slam (oh yay! ><)

And about Armorsmithing, it would be nice to have some decent items that can be made at a profit on the scale of Tailoring/Enchanting. In case you didn't know, the Imperial Armor set cannot be sold at a profit, the three Enchanted Thorium pieces cost 350g or more each, and the Dark Iron gear costs well over 1000g each. The cost of materials for armorsmithing is absolutely rediculous. They seriously need to impliment some decent high-end items that don't cost an arm and a leg.
