my e-mail is all web based. Any important info from e-mail and copy and paste into a text doc and save it to my HD. Then I add the alias to that folder with the text files to my backup aliases folder so they are always backed up.

    Outlook blows! :D

I don't use hotmail, I use yahoo and my mac-gamer.com domain. I also have my mac.com e-mail but I rarely use that. Everything on the net that requires my e-mail address I put in my yahoo acct. That acct gets spammed to hell.

Yahoo = Hotmail = any other web based email account.

I only use my webbased one for checking my pop mail when I'm not at home and to use as a spam account.

Ie : sign up to stuff with it when I now they're going to spam me.

Yahoo is POP3 based and can be set up to download through an e-mail client. My mac-gamer.com e-mail is also POP3 based and can be set up through a client. But I have a php script installed on my servers that allows me to manage my mac-gamer.com e-mail from the web. I just like it better that way. So there! :p

Well I like having everything stored on my computer and acccessable without the 'net.
    Makes me feel more secure.

Ya, i prefer Entourage. It checks about 8 accounts, including hotmail. Hotmail over Entourage sucks even worse than it does on the web, but it beats logging onto their damn site to see if anything's worth reading.
