OSX looks awesome but I hope they'll be allowing us to change the colors more in 10.5... XP is more colorful. Too bad.. OSX is better but just lacks "skin" capability. Sadly in the past Apple doesn't seem enthusiastic about such capabilities.

that would definately be cool if OS X had good support for skins. i like aqua just fine though.

the thing about why Windows XP has skins is MS knows that they can't design a UI worth shit, now Apple on the other hand has it almost perfected with Aqua.

Yeah, Aqua rules but I like a little variety now and then. I mean even if they built in a few other looks, (meaning color schemes), to it that would be nice. While unofficial skins are sometimes nice, one or two extra official skins would be nice.

That's very opinionated Giga, and while it may be true to us, I'm sure it isn't to everyone.

Personally, I think OS X should support different Window managers just like any flavor of *nix. Imagine OS X running Gnome :D.

Oh, but can you start up in X Windows instead of OS X's built in window manager?

My beef is also with the file manager. GUI is fine.

Apple needs to improve the manager for future versions. I wish there was some sort of find box in the toolbar for just that folder.

So if you have a huge folder of stuff, you type in a word and it will narrow down the contents to just file containing that string.

Sure I admit that I favor the Aqua interface over the Windows XP UI, and I use XP for about 10 hours a day both at work and at home. The Mac in general is just a better experience from the user stand point, that is my opinion.

I have no shame in my love for the MacOS X.
