The sheer ignorance of that statement is atrocious.

DivX is an encoding method. The fact that it's used primarly for ripped movies is besides the point.

I have a few DivX encoded music videos, but my DivX collection mostly consists of anime. As far as I can tell, unless it has been released in the U.S. it is not considered piracy or steeling.

I'll download it and try it. I doubt the DivX will work.

DivX is not a supported format. I tried using a non-DivX .avi and it still didn't work. Does WMP rely on codec plugins to add new formats? If that's the case, could codec plugins be used from different systems??

I did watch The Princess Bride (.asf) today. The unexpected quitting when switching to full screen has been fixed.

Who cares if I download movies? Oh no, Ocean's 11 might not get my $7 and they'll only make 200 million dollars! Nuts!

    i was gonna say...

keeksy said steeling movies is wrong, immoral, and stupid.

my reply: i agree with the first one but the other two are subjective.

Do you not feel shame in your hearts for stealing from another for personal gain and enjoyment? Am I wrong for stating such acts are malicious and evil? Can you honestly say you feel no guilt or sorrow for such actions? Not even in the least bit?

No, pastor Keeksy. They don't need my money. Actors get 20 million per movie. It's just like sports people. They make so much money that I feel no pity for them.

Lets put it like this, you consider money the root of all evil correct? Well then movie stars must be evil itself because they make more money than an honest person can expect to make in a lifetime... and besides what do they do with the money that they can't spend on an oppulent lifestyle? They buy drugs with it... Drugs are bad... therefore by dling the movies and not paying them, we are keeping actors off of drugs, and since keeping people off drugs is good, then we are doing good... :)
