OKAY.....Diablo 2 is running FINE(I GOT IT LAST NIGHT!!!!!!). BUT....it's starting up the game that's the problem. when i start the application it's fine, goes to the various company screen shots, but in between each one, it goes to my desktop, announces that i have a new resolution and the refresh rate thta it's using. it does that all the time!! even when i QUIT the game, when it goes back to the main menu. WHAT DO I DO TO STOP THIS???!!!!

Hmm...Try switching to the resolution at the finder to the one that D2 uses before starting it up.

I say call the manufacturers of your vid card and monitor and see if there are any known issues. Look for updated drivers for vid card. Download D2 v1.03 when it's released.
