I'm sure WC3 will revive with the expansion. The d2 division is pretty inactive now too, but expecting a revival with patch.

we decided the warcraft 3 division was dead. There is no sense in considering bringing it back until the expansion is released.

    bye.

    Like... everything.

It's practically a free expansion pack.

New items. Spell changes and tweaks. Totally reworked resistance system for the higher difficulties. Enemy resistances changed. New rune words. New craft recipes (that supposedly will be useful, like the 1.08 craft recipes that were deactivated). Lots of gameplay changes. Balancing out the different classes.

I could go on and on...

I was browsing the b.net forums and they kept making reference to some "big secret" no one was expecting, that GFrazier referred to in regards to the patch. Here's hoping it's random quests or cross class characters!

This patch only has 1 new graphic, so it can't be anything too nifty. Remember, Blizzard thought that the ability to personalize items was the greatest thing since sliced bread and that all players would have wanted that. Look how wrong they were.

I think being able to name your weapons would be wonderful.

I think the big secret is it's being delayed indefinitely.

Well, personalizing items wasn't that bad an idea, not all quest rewards need to be uber. It was cool the first time you did it. I think the problem is that the Nihlathak quest is a pain, since his CE is what the Necro's CE used to be, and then all you get for killing him is your name on an item. The rewards should at least reflect the difficulty involved in obtaining them.
