New iMac

    Just got my new i7 27" iMac. Finally upgraded from my old 20" original Intel core Duo from 2006.

    I think I'll be ready for Diablo 3 now. ;)

    Nice.

    Those iMacs are appealing to me but they have very high power consumption so they aren't viable for off grid computing. That's why I got my mini. :D

    And yes, that system should be more than ready for D3.

    Good choice on the i7. I'm using the first 27" i7 from late 2009 and I'm still regularly blown away by it. Considering replacing my optical drive with a solid state drive for even more insane performance in apps like Aperture.

    I thought about getting the SSD option, until I saw that it was going to add 3-5 weeks before shipping. :( LaCie has announced an external SSD thunderbolt that looks interesting - sometime in the future when they actually start selling it.
