    geezus!

that's on vBulletin? uninstall whatever hack you installed to make this happen. i know that version 2.2.8 doesn't handle sticky threads well which can cause forumdisplay.php to load slowly, but showthread.php should be fine.

omfg, stay out of my old junkage ubb forums :)

That was when kroet.com still functioned :P

Anywayz, I figured it out. It was a problem with a hack in /admin/functions.php. It took me 3 hours to find it :/

Serverload was 4 times as high for a day :(

    It's back to this atm:

    Server Load Averages 3.57, 3.16, 2.76

Still rather high for a time when there are only 15 users on the board though.

About vB... vB 3 is too chunky for me :/

I like 2.2.8 better, except for the sticky part :)

the new vB3 style is pretty sweet IMO. all the other devs disagree with me though. i think vB3's admin cp style is total crap but the forum style is pimp. all of them think the admin cp style is the best thing to ever happen to vB but the forum style is still in development and looks like crap right now.

Didn't see the admin panel yet, so can't judge that one.

But the forumdesign is sweet, but cluttered by countless options that I'd immediately remove if I'd upgrade. I've tuned down my current vB quite a bit (upgrading is hell, too many changes to the php files), and vB 3 would just dump loads of stuff on places I'd like empty :)

My room looks like crap, but when it comes to forums I want a slick design. Too bad my photoshop skills are non-existent. :/

So you see, there's no way we could possibly believe you that it's a cool design until you provide evidence :yeah:
