mldoneky pisses me off...

I cant get the fricken thing to work, it would be nice if somebydy could esplain froim the beginning how to set it up/run it, and what i need to run it(maybe i'm missing a file or something)

I take tha back, it still pisses me off. i run the core, and launch the gui, but the gui cant find the core or stome stoopid crap like that ARRRGGGGHHHH!

I´m having some troble with eMule, it´s gvining me a Low-id (which is not good)
It says port 4662 is not reachable, this should have something to do with the Norton firewall thingy, but I dont know how to set it up to allow eMule to use port 4662.
Anyone?

 

What ID system are you talking about, and how does it work?

I get this line on my connection log:

a big number, which I assume is good .

For opening ports, somewhere there should be Port Forwarding oprtions in your Firewall configurator. It'll have starting and ending port boxes, protocol selections, and a destination LAN IP box. You'll obviously set the port start and end to 4662 (since you're just opening the one), the protocol would be TCP, and the LAN IP would be your computer (go Start>Run>"cmd.exe">type "ipconfig" to see what your LAN IP is if you're using DHCP and/or don't know what it is).

I´m not sure what a low id is but you cannot connect a low id to another low id.
