M$ blocked a shitload of known pirate and beta/preview keys with this latest update. Guess I'll have to dig up the legit key we have lying around somewhere, I must have been using a beta or preview key. Um yeah.

I actually did buy it. Well worth the price if you ask me, it's the best version of Office out there. I use it on my iBook at work, even though the Windows version is on my work computer.

No piece of software is worth $500 unless it can make me that $500 back.

Do you expect to make at least $500.00 with whatever education that you get? If the software helps you get there (I write my papers with Office) then it is worth it.

Also, the education price is much less. :)

I've always found it funny how they charge so little for virtual universes (games) and yet so much for programs that let you type some letters on the screen. (Office)

Tell ya what. Then I'll write Microsoft a $500.00 cheque and post date it to 2025. How's that?

No student has that kind of money to throw at a piece of software.
