I've finally decided to tell off all the colleges that accepted me except for one. Methinks UCLA.

who else has yet to go to a college? please post.
and if you already went then say where

I am still deciding on Willamette and Earlham. Narrowed to 2, from 5.

I'm a junior. I'm really undecided where to apply, but I'm pretty set on either Notre Dame or Boston College for undergrad.

I'm in SFU. Applied to it and was accepted. I didn't exactly worry about picking between eighty different post secondary institutions.

Not really, grade eleven courses are taken into consideration and you have to apply soon after your twelfth year starts. Should already be starting on scholarship applications.

Sweden is a small country, tell me how much do you know about sweden overall? Not very much is my guess.
On average our schools might just as well be better then yours

Undergrad isn't all that important anyway. Go to a place that is rigorous and acceptable, but still at a budge (UCLA being very expensive). The real learning in your field doesn't really come until Graduate school (or even Doctorate research in some cases).

Kraahl, be careful, we have awesome 4 year schools in the States, it's just our public school system that sucks :)

I went to George Mason University. I doubt any of your ever heard of it, but it is a good school all the same. Anyway, good luck and take care, man!

their public schools probly kick ass in sweden.
thought putting 80% of the money you make into taxes probly also helps a lot too.

Going to the University at Buffalo next year for engineering (not sure which discipline yet). I lack a GPA and class rank high enough to merit scholarships, so a public SUNY school is all I can afford. It's not bad by any means, though.

uhh, UCLA costs at most $26,000 per year, for out-of-state students. If you lived in California for more than a year before going to UCLA (like me, 17.5 long years) then it only costs about $15,000 per year. That's dirt cheap compared to a place like Cornell...

No matter where you go, at least go :D

In a way I regret not going out of high school, was going to join Coast Guard, but my life took a sidetrack. Then I got married and pregnant, so I'm getting a late start, but in some ways it's better. Being fresh out of high school, sometimes you take for granted the importance of college. Being in the "real world" for 10 years has given me a new and better perspective on educating yourself. I'm looking into going this fall, now that Connor is almost a year old and my other two boys are in school.

    Better late than never.
