I got my Javazon a Thundergods Vigor belt last night in a trade... and also a Jalal's Mane for my Druid...

How should I transform my Javazon to be able to survive in Hell? I haven't really gone to Hell yet with my Javazon (who has a lvl 34 Light Fury and lvl 20 Fend atm...).

I also have very low resists, even in NM..., but I do 700-900 Fend Damage in hand-to-hand combat. Seems to take care of all comers so far... (Fend will be maxed soon too...)

    I am using:
    - Peasant Crown
    - Titans Revenge
    - Lidless
    - Thundergods Vigor
    - Eye of Etlich
    - Average Gloves, but they have +2 Jav Skills on em
    - Average Rare Boots
    - leech rings (ring 1: 6% Life Leech; ring 2: 4% mana leech)

any helpful advice would be appreciated...
    Stats:
    Strength: 150
    Dex: 175
    Vitality: 148
    Energy: 85

    PS: currently closed lvl 58

fast run and lots of it, my javazon wore 40% faster boots and had a number of 5% faster small charms..

fend doesnt sound like a good idea, i never did any melee with mine.. just max lightning fury, pierce, guided arrow and get the 3 dodge passives above 10 each. keep a buriza on your second weapon tab for lightning immunes or leeching.

my gear(before i traded it all):

    harlequin crest
    7% eye
    vipermagi
    thundergod's vigor
    lidless
    200% titans
    some 40% run boots
    1 soj
7% mana leech ring with + mana
    hellmouth

save yourself some grief and just hang out in the cow levels, you can clear the whole place in way under 5 minutes if you do it right, the cows have 0% resistances and bunch up nicely.. which makes for some especially nasty lightning fury.

I am close to auto on this. The resist issue I took care of by getting my greedy paws on a Moser's shield and added 2 perf diamonds to it. In addition, I use a 1.09 vipermagi (31 to resist). From that alone I am all set as far as resists go.

This set-up knocls me down to lvl 31 (I think) L-Fury and whatever my other stats (skill wise) are. You really should get an escort, like myself or Lurk to at least give you the WP's if not walk you all the way.

The only time I had any trouble was when I got to Durial. He is just one cheap ass-****-bastard the way he hits you before the screen is up. Even on DSL he gets in one shot. Anyway, I used Lycanders Flank (Shael'd) on him and it was a done deal.

I can show you my gear some time, but I assure you it is damn near yous. I am wearing a crest an the magi, but we are almost the same from there.

That shield kicks ass for resists. If you even throw 2 perf diamonds in there it kicks, ideally 2 ums if ya got em.

bah, know nothing about softcore javazons :)

I'd go for max res whatever it cost me... and vitality :) If you get a bow with high other elemental dmg, you have use the swap and strafe to help you kill physical and lightning immunes.... but I'd only play in 2 area with my javazon.

    1. bloody? yeah that's the name, no light immunities
    2. Outer steppes without lurkers. the trick is that you can assemble mass easily there nad make good use of your Lightning Fury.
