    OS X 10.1.4
    G4 400
    384MB RAM
    Radeon AGP (not stock)
    etc.

i've noticed that when my iDisk is mounted and i shutdown the system hangs on the solid blue screen with the rainbow disk in the top left. i have to hold the power button for 5 seconds or kill the power to shut if off. when my iDisk is not mounted i don't get this problem.

Hmm. I just went Go->iDisk, then shutdown, and it went fine. My hardware isnt close to yours thou.

Have you tried the program Goliath. Its a webDAV program and seems to have a little faster access to iDisk. I use it so that I can easily switch between my 2 iDisk accounts.
